On the outside chance anyone is still reading this blog…
I’m now posting over at michaelgowin.com/blog. Effective immediately.
Check it out.

Like some 38 million other Americans, we traveled for the Thanksgiving holiday. We spent the weekend with Matt and Kristina (our new sister-in-law — how weird is it to say that — but in a good way) at their new home in northwest Indiana. We ate the obligatory turkey dinner–which was delicious:

Spent time with relatives (like Gramps, above, as well as Grandpa Ted, Grandma Sharon, and Kristina’s folks), and found a few minutes to get down to the beach at Lake Michigan as well:

Blessings to all at this time of year! (More pictures here if you need ‘em.)
So even a seven-time winner of the Tour de France can be humbled:
“For the level of condition that I have now, that was without a doubt the hardest physical thing I have ever done,” said Armstrong, who finished 856th. “I never felt a point where I hit the wall, it was really a gradual progression of fatigue and soreness.”
It’s official . . . Kristina and I own a house!
We have been busy unpacking boxes and making the rooms up over the last few days. Some walls have been painted and the rest will be done soon.
We have new lighting fixtures (who would have guessed) that Kristina’s dad and I hung in the past few days.
Now we just can’t wait to have our family and friends over once we are settled!
